Dr. Pham earned her B.S. degree in biotechnology from the Hanoi University of Sciences in 2005, M.S. in Asian Soybean Rust at the University of Illinois, and he Ph. D at the University of Missouri. In 2011, she was offered a postdoctoral position at the Soybean Genetic Development Laboratory, University of Georgia. Her research currently focuses on fine-
mapping genes that control the resistance in soybean to devastating diseases such as frogeye leaf spot and root knot nematode.
With the ASEAN-U.S. S&T Fellowship, she hopes to provide her expertise to aid policy makers in Vietnam incorporating the climate change theme into policies and regulations for a sustainable development in agricultural activities.
