Dr. Pineda has interest on health and taking up Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Medical Technology and Doctorate Degree in Biological Science. Currently, she is a college instructor at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Medical Technology, where she is involved in honing future medical technologists, in serving the community through public heallth, and in doing health related researches.
Her research interests are focused on
- Gestational Diabetes mellitus
- Dengue and Malaria
- Climate Change
As ASEAN- U.S. Science and Technology Fellow, she hope this program may formulate national policies which will be implemented and applied, and will definitely be the most important contribution of every research.
