Dr. Kyaw current expertise focused on “Assessment of Biodiversity of the Hydropower plant and Enviromental Policy of the upper Paunglaung hydropower dam in Myanmar” and “Enviromental and Social Impact Assessment effects of the hydropower plant of the upper Paunglaung hydropower dam in Myanmar”.
She is an Assistant Lecturer, Department of Zoology, University of Yangon, Myanmar. She got her B.Sc (Honours), MSc and PhD in Zoology from the Univeristy of Mandalay.
She expect that the ASEAN-U.S. Science and Technology fellowship program is a good policy maker concerned with the science especially in environmental ongoing process and public policy to help governmental bodies plan, and make it more efficient and effective by cooperating with other scientists for the sake of national interests by setting work plan to get better national progress for present and future.
