Dr. Nga has her background in the Earth science, she got the master degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2001 and finished her PhD Degree at the Nagoya University, Japan in October 2008. She had been working at Vietnam National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) for more than 10 years as a forecaster and researcher. Now, She is currently working at Vietnam Satellite Center.
As the ASEAN-U.S. Science and Technology, she expects that this program may improve the skills and opportunity to apply her knowledge on meteorological related hazards successfully to support policy in the early warning in disaster risk reduction and to communicate effectively with the public and other non-academic people.
